Youseen New Medicine Development Co., Ltd., founded by Dr. Xuan Zhenyu, one of the foremost technological leaders in SIP, announced official opening on Jan. 10 in Bio Bay, SIP.

The company aspires to build the largest platform of innovation in China in the research and development of Chinese medicine. Of the 62 patent applications by the company, 12 have been approved, 3 in the clinical experimental stage, and another 4 pending approval. One of the newly developed injection from herbal plants, now undergoing anti-virus (HIV and bird flu) and molecular modification, is estimated to bring an annual sales revenue of RMB 500 million when launched to the market. In the next three years, the company will industrialize all its research results and endeavor to rise to the rank of top 20 R&D centers in new medicine.
