Aicestar Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Faraday Technology, held an opening ceremony at Int'l Science Park, SIP, on Jan. 9.

Faraday Technology is a listed company in Taiwan and the largest IC designing service provider and IP R&D and sales company in Asia with an annual sales avenue of USD 170 million. Faraday owns hundreds of digital and analogue ASIC design patents and its many years' successful experience in IC design and manufacturing procedure and cooperation with wafer-level chip manufacturers is a secure assurance for netlist design and the development, production, testing and packaging of terminal chips.

Aicestar Technology is given the function of Faraday's R&D headquarter in Mainland China, and in three years the employees will be increased to over 300. The entry of Aicestar Technology in SIP will promote the integration of IC designers and IC manufacturers and attract more IC designing companies, and further expand the semiconductor industrial chain in SIP.
