SIP held a working conference on service outsourcing on March 21, attended by representatives from over 100 service outsourcing enterprises in SIP.
SIP Bureau of Economic Development delivered a report on the work of service outsourcing in the previous year, and outlined the plans for work in 2008. Last year, SIP made a total revenue of over 5 billion RMB for service outsourcing, which grew by 67% over that of the previous year. The offshore service outsourcing earned USD 220 million revenue (increase of 80%), and the output value of software industry amounted to 10.03 billion RMB. SIP applied successfully and obtained approval to become a national demonstration base for service outsourcing, and in cooperation with Bearing Point Consulting Co., a globally prestigious consultancy company, drew industrial plans for service outsourcing in the whole of SIP. SIP authorities are now giving all-round support to service outsourcing enterprises in policies, carriers, personnel supply, financing, clients, and living conditions.
SIIP Service Outsourcing Association also gave a report on the work of the association at the conference, and put forward major plans for work in 2008. SIP Human resource Company gave an introduction to the credibility system of SIP service outsourcing employees and new personnel service projects.
Gu Yukun, Vice-chairman of Sipac, attended the conference and gave full appraisal on the growth of service outsourcing industry in SIP, and called on concerted efforts to build a stronger service outsourcing industry in SIP.
