At the joint meeting of Sipac, the customs, and logistics enterprises on June 13, Hu Yukun, Vice-chairman of Sipac? told reporters that SIP authorities allocated 120 million RMB guiding fund to promote the development of service outsourcing in SIP.
In the industrial restructuring, SIP has been vigorously promoting the speedy growth of service outsourcing industry. So far, SIP has introduced into the region 164 domestic service outsourcing projects and 152 foreign-funded projects, with registered capital of 240 million RMB and USD 140 million respectively. The projects are mainly concerned with embedded software outsourcing, animation outsourcing, hardware outsourcing, and IT training.
Service outsourcing in SIP reaped 5 billion RMB business revenue last year, with an increase of 67% over the the year before, USD 220 million in offshore service outsourcing, and 10 million RMB in software industrial output value. In the first quarter of this year, another 26 service outsourcing enterprises were added to SIP with 110 RMB and 11.2 million US dollars registered capital. During this period, the output value of service outsourcing amounted to 1.82 billion RMB, and a number of new projects have got underway, such as the construction of service outsourcing institute, Microsoft technological practice base, and Sino-Indian BPO Training base, etc.
