The first global distribution center, soon to be set up by Samsung Corporation in SIP Integrated Bonded Zone, will become a hub of logistic operations linking up with all Samsung plants, including overseas plants and OEM facilities, for global distribution and delivery.

Suzhou Logistics Center, the earliest officially approved experimental land-locked port of entry and exit in China, is an important carrier of various logistic enterprises for intensive modern logistics, which provides highly efficient and quality service and smooth interface between logistic enterprises and manufacturers. At present, some twenty logistic enterprises of international reputation, are operating in the zone, such as UPS and BAX of USA, Nippon Express and Kintetzu of Japan, and FIEGE of Germany, which are serving over 1,000 manufacturing enterprises. The establishment of Samsung Global distribution center will further speed up the innovative improvement of the bonded zone and boost its competitiveness as the profile of "airport without a runway".

In the first phase of the distribution center, four of the Samsung plants like Suzhou Samsung Semiconductor and Hanyang Semiconductor will export all their products to the center, and in the second phase, a coordination will be launched between the center and Samsung facilities in Korea and sub-centers in America and Europe for global distribution. By then and influx and outlet of goods under customs control will be increase by a volume of over USD 6 billion annually.
