The “Beautiful Suzhou” National Photography Exhibition opened at the Art Suzhou Gallery on Oct. 13.
As one of the key activities of the 3rd China (Suzhou) Jiangnan Culture and Art & International Tourism Festival, the exhibition features 100 photographic works showcasing the unique beauty and charm of Suzhou.
Wan Ge, vice president of China Photo Press, told reporters that the exhibition drew more than 26,000 entries from 13 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country.
The “Beautiful Suzhou” National Photography Exhibition is organized by the Suzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles. It takes place every four years and is the largest photography competition in Suzhou. Since its inception in 2012, the exhibition has collected a large number of photographic works for Suzhou from photographers and photography enthusiasts from home and abroad.
