Recently, the World Economic Forum (WEF) announced the addition of 21 members to its Global Lighthouse Network. The Unilever Taicang Manufacturing Site made it to the list.

The Global Lighthouse Network of advanced manufacturers is a project launched by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with McKinsey & Company in 2018. The network includes companies that have achieved remarkable Fourth Industrial Revolution advancements within the four walls of factory sites, or have effectively implemented end-to-end digitization across the value chain. The enterprises on the list serve as models of adoption and integration of the cutting-edge technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as well as beacons of light that can guide companies in the digital transformation of the global manufacturing industry.
Since the beginning of this year, Suzhou has made every effort to promote the brand of “Made in Suzhou” and accelerate the intelligent and digital transformation.
