Ciyunsi Pagoda or pagoda at Ciyun Temple is located Baota street, Zhenze Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. In 2013 it is listed as national key cultural relics protection site.
Ciyun temple is an ancient temple in Wujiang District, built in Xianchun Years of Southern Song Dynasty, experiencing many considerable changes over the times, and gradually restored since 2004. The Pagoda is the only remaining ancient building in today's temple. It is said this pagoda was first built in the Wu Chi years of the Three kingdoms Period. The pagoda is 38.44 meters high, five-story, hexagonal, brick tower body and wooden eaves, pavilion type. The tower chamber is also hexagon, without core, with the wooden ladder to ascend the tower. The ground floor is encircled with corridors. From the second story on, each layer has eaves and balconies, opening three door holes internally, with location evade that of doors on upper or lower story. On the fourth and fifth layer a straight Sayaka Kusunoki log, penetrating the tower top to support the steeple. The steeple is 9.79 meters high, its upward lotus flowers are engraved with inscriptions for the worshiper who donated money for the constructing the pagoda in the fifth year of the Reign of Emperor Wanli (1577). At the tower bottom the construction technique of some components is close to that of the Song Dynasty, but on the whole it is Ming tower building style. Pagodas and the Yuji bridge nearby form a picture of beauty. "Ciyun Pagoda at Sunset" has been listed as one of "Zhenze eight sights".
