Jiachenxiang Brick Posada is located at the head of Nanshoushi Bridge, Jiachen Lane, Ganjiang Road, in urban district of Suzhou City, China. In 2013 it was listed as national key cultural relics protection site.
Jiachenxiang Brick Pogoda is a pavilion type octagonal and five-story pagoda, modeled after wooden tower Less than 7 meters high, it has stood there for more than a thousand years. The Pogada r is built with shale stone bricks bound with lime masonry. The construction time of Jiachenxiang Brick Pogada was not recorded, however, the Pogada can be found in the map of Pingjiang in southern song dynasty. Then the Pogada is regarded as a Pogada heritage from Tang, Five dynasties to the early northern song dynasty, which serves as an important example for the study of Pogada construction style and transition between Tang and Song dynasty.
